To Bee, or Not to Bee

quilting bee, that is. i've just taken up this age-old pastime and am currently working on two pretty basic quilt styles (only 2 pieces of fabric and some wadding; sewn together and bound with french knots). my next attempt will be an applique children's quilt with funky birds on it. to support this hobby, i've gotten a new sewing machine. it's a PFAFF, which is apparently a good make. sew, whilst i'm recovering from my wee knee surgery, i'll be doing some good ole fashioned quilting to pass the time.
