leaves ON grass

today was a slow post-strike day in terms of job opportunities for me (ie - i didn't have any :)). instead, i slept in to an embarrassingly late time of day, took the kitties for a walk, went to the market, and raked the leaves that had piled up for weeks on our front lawn - good thing i did it, because it rained this evening - nobody likes wet leaves! and since my brain is thinking in terms of before and afters, thanks to my daily fill of TLC programming, i thought i'd offer a before and after shot of all my hard work.
