I've finally made something in pottery that I'm not embarrassed of! It's been a long time coming! They're cookie-inspired Christmas tree ornaments! Pottery Cookies! Actually, I have some even show-ier stuff than this, but they're currently in the kiln (I've been making some bowlish looking objects).
These are red clay slab pieces that I cut xmas shapes out of with cookie cutters - then I painted them with white slip, black terra sig (on the back of the ornaments), and then slews of coloured slip on the front. All glazed up with clear glaze!
