what do you call it when an irrate bridge-person from surrey flies off the handle at poor, cute, little innocent me? ... my drive home from work on monday afternoon!
i was at a red, turning right... only, i didn't try to see if i could go - yeah, yeah, i *COULD* have turned, but a number of situtations led me to wait until the green. the woman behind me blasted her horn for a solid 30 seconds 'cause of my driving decision. i *MAY* have flipped her the bird - okay, i did. ;)
when we both turn the corner together on the green, she speeds up beside me, and cuts me off such that i almost rammed into her. then, she comes to a complete halt and PARK in the right lane of a busy street. she GETS OUT of her car and comes to my open window to ream me out. she tells me i *HAVE* to turn right on a red - it's in the book! (according to her). i say, well, yeah, i *COULD* have turned right, but i'm not obligated to. then, perhaps the funniest moment of the exchange (if there is one), she says "look at you all hoity-toity in your fancy little outfit and you're givin' me the finger!" haha... i suppose a vintage jacket from value village and a nose ring could be considered 'fancy'!? she probably considered the world 'obligation' fancy too! lol.
back to the story: she got in her car, sped away and then cut me off again to turn left down the same road i was turning... it wasn't until i was backing into our garage that i noticed she was at the end of the lane watching me!!! this nut-job followed me to my home!!
needless to say, i've been monitoring the street to make sure she doesn't come back...
ack!

oh my goodness jill. that does sound scary. but i'm pretty sure that you should have turned right on that red. but then again what do i know, i don't even have my full licence...
either way her actions were crazy.
