daryan and i went to see THE LION, THE WITCH, and THE WARDROBE last night. it was fabulous! you all must see it - it's one of those emotional, epic, good vs. evil kinda films... well, i guess you all know this from the book too;). this remediation was quite filmly rooted in the book, actually. good rendition!and it was SO busy - we almost didn't get in! either i haven't been to an opening night in a while, or else this opener was really popular. when daryan and i traipsed in around 1/2 hour before (with our pre-purchased internet tickets in hand) there was a line up that people had stood in FOR 2 HOURS to get the good seats! we were tho the side, but in decent seats.
also the crowd was filled with kids, teenagers, young adults, and older adults - the widest generation range i've ever seen at a film. disney latched on to the right series with this one!
